FEBRUARY 2010

Lisa M. Robinson has been selected by Charlotte Cotton and Jon Feinstein, for the group exhibition 31 Women in Art Photography being presented by the Humble Arts Foundation in New York City. The exhibition dates are March 6—April 10, 2010 at the Affirmtion Arts Foundation.


JANUARY 2010

Lisa M. Robinson will be showing photographs from her Snowbound series at the Temple Gallery, Tucson (AR). Exhibition dates are January 23—February 23, 2010. An artist's reception will be held on January 29, 2010.

Lisa M. Robinson has work from her Snowbound series included in a group exhibition entitled, As It Happens. The exhibition celebrates the Light Work Artists-in-Residence program and is on view at the Lubin House: Palitz Gallery, New York until February 11, 2010.


MARCH 2009

Lisa M. Robinson has been nominated for the 2009 Leopold Godowsky Jr Photography Awards, administered by the Photographic Resource Center (Boston, MA). The award honors and encourages excellence and creativity in contemporary color photography. The jurors include the PRC curatorial team, together with the 2009 guest jurors: William Ewing (Director, Musée de l Elysée, Lausanne, Switzerland) and Hannah Frieser (Director, Light Work, Syracuse, New York). Winners will be awarded with an exhibition at the PRC opening in November 2009 with an accompanying publication and a cash award of $2,500.


JANUARY 2009

Lisa M Robinson is featured in DWELL magazine (February 2009), with work from the Snowbound project.


DECEMBER 2008

Lisa M Robinson has work from the Snowbound series featured in a group exhibition, entitled Wintersalon, at the GALERIE RAUTENSTRAUCH in Frankfurt, Germany (December 6th to January 3rd). An artist's feature, showcasing work from the same series, is also in the current issue of Photographie.

Lisa M. Robinson is currently an artist-in-residence with the MacNamara Foundation on Westport Island, Maine.

Lisa M. Robinson is interviewed on the NymPhoto, as part of it's Conversation series.


APRIL 2008

The Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, has recently acquired two prints from the Snowbound series for its permanent collection.


FEBRUARY 2008

Lisa M Robinson currently has work included in the exhibition The Photographer's Eye: A Way of Seeing at the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego. This signigicant exhibition of photographic artworks from the museum's collections is presented as part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations.

The publication, Snowbound, was recently announced as an Official Selection for the German Photo Book Award, sponsored by Börsenverein des Deutschen Bucchandels. It will be on a one-year exhibition tour in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.


JANUARY 2008

Lisa M Robinson will be showing in a number of exhibitions in the upcoming months. A selection of images from Snowbound will be on display at Fotografie Forum International (Germany), Indiana State University Art Gallery (Tere Haute) and the Photographic Center NorthWest (Seattle). Each of the exhibitions are scheduled between January and March 2008.


NOVEMBER 2007

Lisa M Robinson is featured in the Winter 2007 issue of photo-eye Booklist. An image from Snowbound appears on the cover, together with an excellent interview with her by Patrick Amsellem, the Associate Curator of Photography at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. A selection of her work is also included in a group exhibition at the Etherton Gallery in Tucson (Arizona), which runs November 9th, 2007 — January, 19th 2008.
