Sarah Lynch received her Masters in Design (Photography) from the Edinburgh college of Art. She has received artist grants from The Arts Trust for Scotland and The Scottish Arts Council. Lynch is a recipient of the Jerwood Photography Award and also a winner of the Flash Forward Emerging Photographer's Award by the Magenta Foundation in Toronto.

Suspended Realities has been exhibited in the United Kingdom at the Jerwood Space (London), Open Eye Gallery (Liverpool) and Cooper Gallery (Duncan of Jordonstone, dundee). This series was also included in the monograph Women & Still Life Photography, published by Ffotograllery (UK).

Sarah Lynch lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
